Ecstatic Royals fans partied all over town last night as Reading Football Club won promotion back to the Premier League.....

Not a regular fan, but I followed the readingfc tweets throughout the match and was delighted they won and have secured promotion. Lovely watching all the YouTube footage of fans, pitch invasions etc.

Twenty two blokes kicking a bag of wind about trying to get it in between some bits of 3 x 2 covered with fish net and then when they do what they are paid for, they react like kids either covering their heads with their shirts and running around or sliding along the ground.
Ha! Ha!
As you can tell I'm not a football fan but I am told that they have been there before, so lets hope it lasts a bit longer for their fans sake.

Reading FC will hold a parade around the town to celebrate their promotion to the Premier League. The Royals were beaten in last season's Championship play-off final, but sealed automatic promotion this term with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest. A club spokesman said: "We want to mark this occasion, which is a huge day in the Royals' history, which the players will want to enjoy with the fans." It will take place on Sunday 29 April. Route details are being finalised.

There will also be a celebration at the Madejski Stadium on the same day....
