GULAB?

The old Miah's has been renamed the Gulab and doesn't have an alcohol licence.

Has anybody been there since it changed hands?
I suspect that most of the staff will be the same

Jamshed the manager of Miah's was caught employing illegal immigrants, hence the alcohol licence ban across his restaurants.

Not been there in years though.

We've had a takeaway since it was renamed. Very tasty.

It was probably cooked at the dark kitchen up the road from me, where the owner lives. The trail bike they use to deliver has just gone past. Again.

It's still Miahs in Shinfield.

Wasn't the one over by the College Arms (Palmer Tavern) always called Garden of Gulab?

Oops just remembered they renamed it Gulab but only recently as still has temp' signs

It's actually now called Gulab Indian Kitchen. Still looks exactly the same inside, staff and interior.

There's also a Miahs in Pangbourne.
