As I didn’t learn to drive until 1979 I doubt it 😄

Well I might have been on L-plates and there was a Triumph Herald, which is what I learnt on. It’s the lorries and commercial vehicles that seem to date it, more than the cars or people. I don’t know why. Did lorry designs not change so quickly.

I had a Triumph Vitesse, but not at that time, I learnt to drive on a frog-eye sprite in 1968, but failed my test - almost inevitably I suppose :roll: so borrowed a friend’s Morris Minor and passed, then went back to the Frog-eye, then sold that and got an MG - first of many.
