Quilt Insulation Installers - Recommendations

Post by Stewart »

I’m looking for a company (or individual) to install quilt loft insulation (not foam sprayed) .

Anyone had any good (or bad!) experiences using any such company?

There are a lot out there!

Try going through Age Uk
We got our cavity walls done through their recommendation (loft was already done) and my mother went through them as well for her loft (no cavity walls)
You can get the government grant for it through that as well

We got the government grant for cavity walls many years ago now. But we did the loft - well not me - but late OH and a friend bought the rolls from B & Q.... hot work though! However we do ,I’ve in a chalet bungalow, so it’s easy to walk into the loft from the upstairs bathroom.
