Perhaps if the council hadn't hit working families with another council tax hike (and increased car parking charges) the councillors wouldn't need to promote it.

£95 for a family of 4 and the same again in the Broad St. Mall car park...

I was joking. But we still have some of the most expensive car parking in the country. Given that we're a hum drum commuter town and not a tourist destination.
