A small undistinguished brown brick office building on the south corner of Basingstoke Road and Winchester Road, opposite Elgar Road (South), this was occupied until a few years ago by a firm of financial advisors (who decamped north into the wilderness the other side of Caversham). I think it's been empty ever since, and I notice whilst passing today that there's an application for change of use to convert it into 17 flats.
Nothing earth-shaking in the scheme of things, I guess, but following the trend of offices into flats.
